Housing is a feature that currently has little use before the player builds the Harvestron, which takes large amounts of resources and gold to get the point of building, but can help the player in Harvesting. Vysn has hinted at future uses for housing, including marriage between players, but this is currently unconfirmed and unimplemented.

Initially, a plot of land to build a house on costs either 20,000,000 gold or 200 fame. The purchase begins a 6 hour 'paper processing' period before any rooms can be built. The house possesses an experience bar that is filled when the player initializes a room or upgrade. Upon leveling up to certain levels, the house's title changes.

Rooms

Rooms are the main resource and time drains of building a house, but they unlock new upgrades and give the most house experience. Initially, the only room or upgrade available for the player to build is the Living Room. Most times the house levels up, a new room is unlocked.

Room Resource Cost Build Time (H:M:S) House Experience Given Unlocked at House Level
Living Room 10,000 Food, Wood, Iron, Stone 6:00:00 500 1 (unlocked by default)
Hallway 20,000 Fo, Wo, Ir, St 6:00:00 500 2
Bedroom 30,000 Fo, Wo, Ir, St 6:00:00 500 3
Workshop 50,000 Fo, Wo, Ir, St 6:00:00 500 5
Bathroom 60,000 Fo, Wo, Ir, St 6:00:00 ? 6
Kitchen 80,000 Fo, Wo, Ir, St 6:00:00 ? 8
Dining Room 100,000 Food, Wood, Iron, Stone 6:00:00 500 10

Items

While giving less experience than rooms and only unlocking the next level of that particular upgrade, they cost substantially less and some give slight benefits, either for the house or for the player. Currently, the amount of Items unlocked at each level is (Level - 1). The player can upgrade any items that they want, but if the item can be built in more than one room, they must build and upgrade them separately in each one.

The formula for working out the resource cost for each level of upgrade is as follows: (Level 1 Cost/8)*((Level^2)+7).

Level 2 Unlocks

Currently, the only item unlocked at level two is Wooden Flooring. It can be built in the Living Room, Hallway and Bedroom, and must be built separately in each room, i.e. if the player builds a level 1 Wooden Floor in their Bedroom they must also build a level 1 floor in the Hallway before upgrading the Wooden Floor in the Bedroom. As with each item, the previous level of upgrade must be completed before building the next.
